The location is very well designed. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Food is high-end, delicious and expensive. Our waitress was really friendly and attentive.

This was my second time here. Really enjoy the atmosphere here, and the service here ie good. Had some drinks and some apps here with a friend. Had the fries and the hand rolled couscous, which was delicious. (Hoping my friend has her birthday dinner here!) Woukd recommend.

Tapas style food so everything is on the small side to share. Yummy though and great decor. Went mid week so not to busy. Nice place for dates

Great atmosphere. The food is good but not as good as the main location downtown. Also very unfortunate that their wine list is not as extensive as the downtown location. Highly recommend the Jewel rice and the beef tartar.

This place is absolutely incredible! Beautiful, warm, and cozy interior with great food and lovely staff!Personal favorites are steak tartar, fig salad, Short rib kebab, and sweet jeweled rice. They also have fun cocktails and are really accommodating with preparing cocktails that aren't on the menu, but zi strongly recommend their gulab cocktail with rose petals topping.

I would love to give this place 5 stars, however the price tag attached to several menu items limits me from doing so only because I know how much some of this food would cost in the middle east also they only serve specialty kinds of beers and spirits. Having said that I will say the place is fantastic. Its vibe amazing. The food is rich with flavour and color the presentation is lovely. I would most certainly recommend Byblos Uptown. It's great for a small get together or party of two. Try it out.

Place was crowded, very noisy and disorganized. Staff were not at all at their best, Waiter was more interested in watching who was coming in through the restaurant and was not engaged. Food was average and very small portions. Way overpriced. Poor experience overall.

The food is awesome, but when compared to the d/t location, this one has super fast food service. So if you are into a more relaxed dining experience, try the downtown location (2nd Floor)

Reserved it for a Friday birthday and they were also able to provide halal food. The place is great. The ambiance was good and the service was prompt!We had the turkish dumpling to start with. Black truffle rice and wagyu steak as main course and stuffed baklava and pomegranate sorbet to finish it off! Loved all the different dishes! Would love to go again!

Food is very delicious. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Parking is a nuisance. Food is exotic and flavorful, but not appropriate for young children who prefer blander foods. However, restaurant is so accommodating and will make fried chicken and French fries for them which is not on the menu.

Food was good but came out cold and a bit over cooked. If your into middle Eastern food it's good, but like i said someone dropped the ball and let it sit and let the food cool down. It did take exceptionally long to get our food.

Great selection and great service. Its a must try for the pallet. The cod was to die for.

Hand down, one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto! My favourites their dumplings and squid. SO GOOD!

We had a terrific dinner. We especially enjoyed the lamb shoulder and the baklava. The spicy sauce on the chicken was very very spicy - yum!

Byblos uptown is a cool spot with a cozy, inviting and very well outfit Mediterranean feel. The food was really good, we ordered an array of things from the eggplant dumplings, the spinach and feta pida (which was golden delicious) to the fried chicken (which was perfectly cooked), and the mint tea which is the absolute best on a chilly damp evening. The service was good, friendly and efficient team and I like the open kitchen concept.

I'm so impressed and wasn't expecting how delicious the food would be. My husband is a Chef from Jordan and I was just blown away. Everything was great. The duck kibbeh, rib eye, Lamb ribs, Branzino. The lentil race, my goodness! I will certainly come back and recommend this place highly.

Really love the food at Byblos. A bit pricey but the menu is designed to be shareable. If you’re looking for a nice date spot or just good food and atmosphere then this is the place! Decor is beautiful!

We went for NYE and we had an incredible time! This gem of a place is just north of the hustle and bustle of uptown, the decor and atmosphere is open, yet cozy, and beautiful. Everyone at our table enjoyed their dishes, some of my personal favourites were: the humus royale, the fig salad, the truffle pide. My 8oz ribeye was a VERY satisfying entree, and for dessert I cannot recommend the orange blossom mousse enough - it's light, delicate, yet punches you with enough flavour - it's to die for (pic included)! All in all, we'll definitely be back at Byblos!

Me and my friends had an amazing experience at Byblos. The attention to details make the difference and we could clearly see that through both the service and the food. It doesn’t matter what you order, the food will be delicious.

Great service. The server was attentive and made sure all is well Food was ok, tbh I was not that impressed. We went for dinner. Very small portions for the price. Some dishes were a hit and some were a definite miss.

Great little place. I have always had an amazing experience at the downtown location, so the bar was set quite high for me with this location. Service was okay, food was yummy (black cod was delicious, oxtail qatayef was nice, desserts were tasty, wasn’t a fan of the couscous), and the decor was amazing!

Incredibly delicious Middle Eastern food, beautiful restaurant and atmosphere, and excellent service! I only mentioned casually that it was my husbands birthday and they wrote ‘happy birthday’ and put a candle on his dessert! We cannot wait to come back!

The ambiance and decor of the restaurant is vibrant and fun--clean, minimalist, with accents of rich colours and Mediterranean flair. However, the food was underwhelming. The flavours of all the dishes were okay but missing depth. The star of the meal was the pistachio ice cream bar, which was perfect! Not too sweet and refreshing. Service was friendly and efficient. I would not return, however. Once for the experience was enough.

I've heard good things about this place and we got a table for two on a Tuesday night. No issues reserving an hour ahead!To sum it up: Complex layering of flavours done right. Each dish was made really well. Only issue is the price and dish size, but otherwise it makes up for it in quality. We had the Turkish eggplant dumplings, creamy spinach pibe (Mediterranean flatbread pizza), grilled branzino (sea bass with Chermoula) and brussel sprouts with fried halloumi cheese and tahini.Everything was made to perfection. Nothing was over or undercooked, or dry. Recommend going with 4-6 people to share more dishes! Service was friendly too!

Authentic Turkish food experience. Extremely polite and knowledgeable staff, will give you great recommendations. The ambience and the food together make for a memorable experience. The desserts are worth a try, definitely would recommend. The mousse, Pavlov, sorbet paired with original Turkish Coffee or tea is the perfect way to end the evening.

I have only been to the downtown location prior to coming to uptown. I like this location way more! The decor is so unique, the ambiance is perfect, and the food, as usual, is outstanding. Keep in mind the portion sizes are small and are made for sharing! The service at this location is far superior are friendlier. Will definitely be coming back!

First time dining at Byblos and I must say it exceeded my expectations! The Mediterranean/middle eastern influences are captured well within the menu and there’s a good variety of dishes. The drinks are well made and very tasty. The staff are very helpful and are very attentive with their service.

Although expensive and the portion is comparatively small, the food was worth every penny. Every dish we tried was flavourful and the presentation was amazing. When the first spoon went into my mouth, I just couldn't help but wonder what spice went into the dish and how it was cooked because the taste is so unique. Lastly, the place has a really ambience, sitting on a couch for dinner is a relaxing experience to me.

Service is remarkable, warm and welcoming ambience. Food has a good presentation, starters and entrees are alright but id definitely endorse the dessert

Really nice ambience. Somalia was wonderful, extremely knowledgeable and wine was delicious. Our waiter was a bit strange and service definitely could have been better. Food was tasty but portions were incredibly tiny - like super small. It was a good meal but to be honest I’ve had much better middle eastern food. Byblos lacked the ‘love’ component in their cuisine. All in all we enjoyed the night, food and experience but no need to ever go back.

The food is absolutely perfection, from the staff, to the food they made my mothers birthday celebrations very special.

Tried this place last night for our anniversary and it was fantastic. Our server Johnathan was incredible. He was very friendly, had great recommendations and was incredibly punctual for food checks and drink top ups. Everything we ate was delicious and we’re looking forward to coming back soon.

Food and service were pretty good. Really pretty restaurant. If you like the Middle Eastern flavours, then you would like the food. :)

The hostess was awesome and the food was not very worth it (spent over $200 on dinner and drinks, expect $20 drinks). was surrounded by very obnoxious guests, walking by and draping their coats on our table and pointing over our faces. It took over 30 minutes to get our drinks started and the server seemed to ignore us. The place is very well designed, i loved looking around the venue! I would suggest requesting a table away from the aisle if you can and have a drink and share apps, because the interior design itself is worth it but literally, thats it.

Very nice atmosphere and great food. It is a Mediterranean tapas style restaurant. It is a little loud and the tables are a little close together but good experience overall. The service is very good and the staff are friendly. There is street parking and some Green P lots around the area.

Wow for the flavors! Adam's service was perfect.

A modern taken on eastern Mediterranean cuisine with small plates but the flavour has to be tasted to be believed. Everything we ordered was amazing and we ended up sharing all the plates but one standout selection was the dumplings. Absolutely phenomenal and highly recommended. The only slight downside was the choice of music with dancefloor beats not really combining with the ambience.
